Directions from the North
From Inverness take the A9 Southbound towards Aviemore, turning left onto the A95 just before Granish, and almost at the southern end of Forest. Pass by Avielochan, Boat of Garten and Craggan Golf Club, before taking the B9102 into Grantown on Spey. You will find our B&B/Self Catering property located 1/2 mile from here, on the right.
Directions from the South
From Perth, take the A9 Northound heading towards Aviemore and the Cairngorm National Park. Pass by Aviemore and the Speyspey Railway, turning right onto the A95 at Granish, just before Kinveachy Forest. Pass by Avielochan, Boat of Garten and Craggan Golf Club, before taking the B9102 into Grantown on Spey. You will find our B&B/Self Catering property located 1/2 mile from here, on the right.
Two mainline rail stations serve Grantown on Spey. Aviemore Rail Station lies 14 mile south of Grantown, and Carrbridge which you will find 10 miles form our B&B, on the edge of the A9/A38. For train times and prices etc, please refer to The Trainline.com
Grantown on Spey is located approximately 30 miles south of Inverness Airport (with frequent daily flights to Manchester, London and Bristol) and is accessible by rail/transfer from either Aviemore or Carrbridge Rail Stations. The journey from Inverness Airport taking the Old Military Road A939 over the Dava is quite exceptional. Look out for the Stone marking the Cairngorm National Park
